How Upper LM handles information.

This policy describes the Upper LM website at upperlm.com and the mobile applications Upper LM publishes on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The store listing of each application names the data that application collects. If a listing and this page ever differ, the listing for that version is the narrower statement of what that version collects.

Who we are

The operator of this website and of those applications is UPPER LM LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company, Massachusetts identification number 001912945. You can reach us at privacy@upperlm.com. The principal office is the address on file with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth for that identification number.

Website

The website does not ask you to create an account. It does not run advertising and it does not set analytics cookies. If you write to us, we use your message and your email address to reply and to keep a record of the request.

The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives the technical data needed to deliver the page and to resist abuse, including IP address, user agent, and the time of the request. That processing is described in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

Applications

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Paid downloads and in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive reports about the transaction from the store. We do not receive your full card number.

If an application asks you to sign in, we use the email address and the credentials for that account to provide the service, to secure the account, and to respond to you. If an application lets you send a problem report, the report may include the text you write, the application version, the device model, and the operating system version.

An application collects only the categories declared on its store listing. We do not add a tracker, a contact upload, or precise location in the background unless that listing says so and the operating system has granted the permission.

Children

Our applications are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child sent us personal information, write to privacy@upperlm.com and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer it and to meet accounting or legal duties. Account data stays while the account is open. When you ask us to delete an account, we delete or de-identify the personal information unless we have to keep a specific record, such as a purchase record from the store.

Your requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@upperlm.com with the subject “Privacy request”, the application name, and the store where you installed it. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. You can also use the privacy controls in your Apple ID or Google account for data those companies hold.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We still ask that you write to us first so we can fix the issue.

Where information is handled

We are based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and by the infrastructure providers named above.

Changes

When this policy changes, we change the effective date on this page. The policy linked from an application’s store listing is the policy for that submission.
